Amy Van Beek the founder of Be Real Birthing is a qualified Birthing Doula, prenatal and postpartum and a qualified practitioner with Hypnobirthing Australia.

Amy's doula/hypnobirthing business is very close to her heart. After having a traumatising first birth with no clue what she was doing and having every pain medication to be thought of, she then went on to have a VBAC and this truly inspired her as a woman. She is here to support, guide and advocate for you in this incredible journey. No woman should have to go through this time alone or feel unheard or unsupported. Everyone needs support in different ways and Amy is here to connect with mammas who would love to be nurtured through their birthing process using her experience and love.

Amy shares her personal birth stories and we also talk about the following in this episode:

    1. What exactly does a doula do for expectant mothers?
    2. What inspired you to become a doula?
    3. How does having a doula contribute to a positive birth experience?
    4. Hypnobirthing
    5. Postpartum Care: What role does a doula play in supporting mothers after birth?
