• The Turning Point
    Sep 16 2025

The events that have unfolded over the past couple of weeks have been enormous. From Iryna Zarutska to Charlie Kirk, it should leave people wondering "what's going on?!" Paul gave us the answer 2,000 years ago in 2 Timothy Chapter 3: "There will be terrible times in the last days." We are living in terrible times, folks. However, we are not to be afraid. Now more than over, Christians everywhere must use their voice to boldly proclaim the Truth written in the Word of God. Christians everywhere must boldly proclaim JESUS. Charlie Kirk was a threat to the Enemy, but the Enemy will not be able to silence him or his message. His message will only grow louder and bigger as the future unfolds. The United States of America suffered a loss. The Body of Christ lost a member of the family. But the fight will continue and the battle will be won. God wins. This is the Turning Point.

  • Being Part of God's Family
    Sep 9 2025

Sometimes, it might seems like we have nobody to turn to -- no friends, no family. You may have experienced isolation because of your faith. You may have lost close friends because of your faith. When this happens, Jesus tells us to take heart because "if the world hates you, keep in mind it hated me first." When it seems as though we have nobody to turn to, turn to Jesus. He is your family. He is your friend. The day you become baptized and born again into the Kingdom, you become a child of God -- you become part of God's family, and within God's family are other people who have given their life to Christ -- these are your brothers and sisters in Christ. Remember that the next time you feel alone. You have family. You are part of God's family!

  • The Eucharist: Is It REAL Flesh & Blood?! Ft. Nick Kassouf
    Sep 2 2025

It was great having Nick Kassouf back on the show to talk more about some of the core beliefs and doctrine of Catholicism. Today, we talk about the Eucharist. As a protestant, I believe the practice of communion to be a remembrance of what Jesus did for us on the cross. It is a symbol. When we take communion, it is a time to reflect on Christ's sacrifice as well as a time to examine ourselves and make sure we are living according to God's Word. Nick believes, as a Catholic, in the idea of transubstantiation, which is the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox doctrine that the physical substance of the bread and wine in the Eucharist is transformed into the actual body, blood, soul, and divinity of Jesus Christ, while the external appearances (color, taste, texture) of bread and wine remain. We dive deep into the topic and discuss our differences and why we believe what we believe! I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did!

  • Preparing the Way for the Lord
    Aug 26 2025

You and I have a very similar calling to John the Baptist. John the Baptist was called by God to prepare the way for Jesus's coming. We, as Christians, are called by God to prepare the way for Jesus's SECOND coming. What are you doing with your short amount of time here on this earth in order to prepare people's hearts for Jesus's return? In today's episode, we talk about the life of John the Baptist, the origins of baptism, and we even discuss whether or not water baptism is necessary for salvation. Enjoy!

  • Why Do You Doubt?
    Aug 19 2025

So often I wonder why people beg God for their prayers to be answered... Hebrews 4:16 tells us to "approach God's throne with confidence". What does it mean, then, to approach His throne with confidence? It means to believe that the work that He did on the cross is finished, and that by faith in Him we are children of God, and as God's children, He knows how to give good gifts to those who ASK HIM! If God's Word promises peace, believe it, don't beg for it. If God's Word promises healing, believe it, don't beg for it. It's already yours. Stop doubting. It doesn't make sense to beg for something that's already yours. When you're believing for a prayer to be answered, approach God with confidence, thanking Him that what He has promised in His Word is yours as a child of God. We need to change the attitude of our prayers. Start to pray with confidence. No more doubt!

  • Jesus, The Bread of Life
    Aug 12 2025

Jesus says in John 6 that He is "the bread of life". What does He mean by this? He later says that unless we "eat his flesh and drink His blood, we have no life". What does He mean by this? Catholics say we are partaking in eating His actual flesh and drinking His actual blood through the practice of Holy Communion, but is this REALLY what Jesus was saying? Or was He speaking spiritually? Jesus later says His words are "full of spirit and full of life" and that "the flesh counts for nothing". If the flesh counts for nothing, then what would be the point of eating Jesus's actual flesh and drinking His actual blood? What was Jesus REALLY saying when He claimed to be "the bread of life"? I believe Communion is important, but when partaking in it, are we really eating Jesus's actual flesh and drinking His actual blood? We talk about this and more in this week's episode. Enjoy!

  • Resist the Devil
    Aug 5 2025

James 4:7 tells us to "Submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Submitting to God means seeking His Word and living life according to it. Then and only then can we resist the devil. It's also very important to know the Word of God. When Satan tempted Jesus in the desert, Jesus responded with the Word of God. Every time the devil threw a thought of temptation at Him, Jesus responded with, "It is written!" We should all learn from Jesus's example and when Satan tempts us, we should respond with the Word of God -- "It is written!" There is a scripture for every challenge you might be facing. Find those Scriptures and use them! The Word of God is powerful and it helps to know it because there will come a time when you will need it.

  • It's Not God's Fault
    Jul 29 2025

Bad things happen as a result of sin and as a result of people LACKING KNOWLEDGE. People don't know what to pray for because they don't know how to pray. They do not know how to back up their prayers with Scripture because they don't know Scripture! They don't know the power of God's Word because they do not read it. They haven't been taught. Hosea 4:6 says, "My people perish because of a lack of knowledge." The reason terrible things are allowed to happen in our lives is because we don't know how to take up our shield of faith and stop them from happening. God GAVE you His Word. He TOLD YOU to arm yourself with it DAILY. It's up to us whether or not we decide to do that. Do it! It's time to KNOW YOUR SCRIPTURE!
