Ecclesiastes 9

Today we talked about how important it is to utilize the time we are given on earth to not only enjoy life, but to hear God’s voice and obey. One day, you won’t be here on earth anymore, and that’s why it’s so important to use our time on earth wisely and with purpose. We should be spending every day in service to the Lord, because He is the reason we are here. Amen!

There are two sides to the Israel argument: one side believes that the church has replaced Israel as far as God’s covenant with them goes, and the other side believes that God has not yet broken His covenant with Israel and that there remains a remnant of Jewish people who will be saved in the last days. In debate, both sides usually refer to scripture found in Romans 9, 10, and 11. Today, we read all three chapters to see which side of the argument most lines up with Scripture. These are important topics that should be talked about in the days we are living in so we can better understand the times and Jesus’s ultimate return. Enjoy!

Be thankful for what you have and enjoy the lot that God has given you in this life. Our days here are short compared to eternity — so enjoy your life here on this earth while keeping God in the center of it all. Spend time with your loved ones, and spend time with the Lord. Don’t be in such a hurry to get through life. Enjoy every moment, and be grateful for what the Lord has given you. Love you all!

I had the pleasure of sitting down with Sophia Lorey and Shon Thornburg on today’s episode. Sophia stands for truth in a world full of lies, especially regarding the war on gender. Sophia defends girls who have to deal with biological males, who identify as females, wanting to compete in women’s sports. It’s a crazy world out there! In today’s episode we talk gender, life in the womb, and all things “woke” and how important it is for the church to stand against the lies and stand up for TRUTH!

It can be very easy to fall into nostalgia and to begin thinking about all the “good times” we had in our past, before we truly gave our life to God. Solomon encourages us not to do that because it only leads to sorrow and regret and it keeps us in a state of depression — never able to move forward in life. Instead, seek wisdom by seeking the Lord and allow Him to guide each and every step of your life. One day at a time.

Today I sit down with Shon Thornburg and Pastor Brian Buell from Love Life USA to discuss how important it is for the church to stand in the gap for the unborn. Since 2021, 1,000 babies have been saved in California as a result of the church showing up to abortion centers and praying. That’s it — not protesting, not yelling, just praying. Prayer is so much more powerful than protest. Prayer gets the job done! Not only are babies being saved through Love Life, but souls are being saved as well and lives are being brought into the Kingdom of God. We are only given a few days here on this earth compared to eternity. We can spend those few days constantly chasing after the next best thing, never satisfied, or we can spend those few days chasing after Jesus and encouraging others to do the same, which will keep us in a constant state of satisfaction. The number one prayer request I receive today is “Charlie, will you pray for all the lonely people?” And my response is always, “Yes, of course.” And then I got to thinking — as born again, Spirit-filled believers, we should never be lonely, because we have Jesus living on the inside of us through His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our advocate, our comforter, our friend. When we realize that God is not distant from us, but that He is part of us, walking with us, holding our hand everyday, we should never feel lonely. We talk about this, and more ways to combat loneliness in today’s episode. Enjoy!
