    Our hosts aren’t the only ones clowning around this week, as we watched Terrifier 3 overtake Joker: Folie a Deux with an unfortunately dramatic 2nd week drop, and saw The Apprentice join the market.     Box Office Overview:

    • Terrifier 3 debuted at number 1 with $18.3M domestically and nearly $5M internationally. On a budget of only $2M, an opening weekend total of $23.1M makes Terrifier 3 likely to be the most profitable movie of the year.
    • The Wild Robot grossed another $13.5M domestically, keeping a strong momentum in its 3rd week.
    • Joker: Folie a Deux saw an unfortunate 81% drop in the domestic market with only $7M, making for the highest 2nd week drop of a comic book movie.
    • Beetlejuice Beetlejuice in its 6th week was only a hair behind, also with $7M in the domestic market, where its total has now passed $275M.
    • Piece by Piece, a lego documentary, debuted to $3.8M.
    • My Hero Academia the Movie: You’re Next debuted with just over $3M domestically.
    • And The Apprentice grossed $1.58M from 1740 screens.

    • Joker: Folie a Deux underperformed compared to industry predictions, grossing $37.8M with its debut domestically, and $81.1M internationally for a total of $118.9M.
    • The Wild Robot added $18.7M domestically, and $13M internationally, which brought the total past $10M globally.
    • Beetlejuice Beetlejuice grossed an additional $10.2M domestically, bringing the domestic total to $265M, and crossing $400M globally.
    • Transformers One grossed $5.4M domestically, coming in at 4th position, and is now close to reaching the $100M worldwide mark.
    • White Bird debuted this weekend to $1.5M in the domestic market.

    • The Wild Robot debuted to $35M domestically, and $9.9M internationally for a global weekend of $44.9M. Releasing earlier in some markets, its total now sits at $53.1M from 30 territories globally.
    • Beetlejuice Beetlejuice dropped to 2nd position with $16M domestically putting its domestic total over the 250M mark, now approaching $375M globally.
    • Transformers One grossed another $9.3M domestically, down 62%, and $16.6M internationally, reaching a global total of $72M.
    • Devara: Part 1 grossed over $5M domestically, and 27.8M internationally, placing it at $32.9M globally.
    • Megalopolis opened globally to a dismal $6.1M worldwide, below its already conservative forecasts.
