Addressing "OUR" Trauma EP 3

  • Summary

  • It's mental health awareness month and let's face it black people have so much trauma we need to start discussing and unpacking in order to be better healthier people. In this four part series I will be discussing trauma in men, women, & children. In the final episode we will hear from my friend who has experienced trauma in her life and has learned to cope with it. We need to start normalizing every individual in our households getting therapy. As a community black people have inherently experienced trauma so whether you believe it or not you have experienced trauma that needs to be addressed. Tune in now to the third episode of this series where I talk to Cerene Prince, LCSW, about addressing our trauma in African American children. If you have kids, are around kids, want kids in the future, or have kids in your family you need to listen to this episode!!!
