A Dancer's Perspective on Joy Part 1 with Rachel Helten

  • Summary

  • In this episode, I talk with my cousin Rachel Helten! Rachel is a dance artist, choreographer, teacher, healing facilitator and mentor. In part 1 of this conversation, Rachel shares her story with us, we talk about our own experiences in dance and what gets in the way of us experiencing joy. In this conversation, Rachel and I don't shy away from the fact that joy and pain are 2 feelings that come hand in hand, and so we do talk about how dance has also hurt us both in some way.

This conversation is at the same time funny, gentle and kind. I hope you come to understand why Rachel is one of my favourite people with this podcast!
