  • Summary

  • Sonoma's repave proved to be a success as we saw slick track conditions cause chaos early on in Sunday's Toyota/Save Mart 350, there would be 8 cautions by the end of stage 2, but by stage three the drivers got a handle on their cars and the fans got to see a bunch of strategies play out. In the end it would be Kyle Larson on 13 lap fresher tires pass Martin Truex Jr for the win. Unfortunately for Truex, he ran out of gas on the final lap and would finish sub 20th place.
