A MUST listen….a GUARANTEED support!

What more can we ask for? Someone who’s almost like a personal guide helping us through life. I’ve spent thousands of dollars (and invested a great deal of time) on my journey to self discovery - but - never has one person and the advice they give impacted MORE. Simple, practical advice that I can follow on a daily basis. Mel Robbins is truly a life changing find for me.

Great tips on focusing on your body instead of your thoughts

Wow, blown away by this podcast! Mel interviews Dr Russell Kennedy, who says anxiety often originates from our relationship with our parents in childhood, due to underlying issues related to parent behaviour. This is ultimately tied to how we then go on to behave as adults. So anxiety is like an echo from our past. Some brilliant insight here.

Mel knows how to ask specific questions and break down somewhat complicated subjects into clear, understandable ideas for the listeners to digest. It would have been nice to hear a bit more from Dr Russell, as there were some points where he was about to make an interesting statement and he got interrupted due to Mel's excitement and interest. But Mel made sure that he would come back again, and there are some great takeaways from this chat.

I loved how both Mel and Russell agreed on so many things, and even overlapped concepts, like 5,4,3,2,1 - into my body! High fiving your heart, some positive self talk, etc.

Mel, if you're reading this, I think you would be SO good at helping people understand and cope with their own egos, you've already been unknowingly teaching a lot of helpful concepts - you know more about the ego than you realise!

Looking forward to Dr Russell Kennedy coming back to talk about Ego and other things, I enjoyed his insights so much that I've downloaded his audiobook, "Anxiety Rx", and it's really good :)
