About this listen
In The Little Book of Breaking 80, the author, a struggling amateur golfer who finally discovered the true keys to breaking 80 after more than 30 years of trial and error, blows the cover off of the hopelessly doomed conventional approach to golf improvement that keeps most golfers stuck on the endless merry-go-round of frustration and failure. He provides a realistic blueprint for breaking 80 that any golfer of any level can easily apply and quickly see real and lasting scoring improvement.
This is not a book of swing techniques. There are plenty of other resources that teach you how to swing, chip, and putt. What this book does provide is a true framework for how to break 80 and consistently shoot scores in the 70s, based on sound principles that will work for any golfer of any level. Provided you faithfully follow and apply these principles, you will begin to improve surely and steadily, to the point where you will eventually gain the ability to break 80, not just as a one-time fluke, but over and over again as a reflection of your true newfound ability.

Strategy Worked on the 1st day
I tried this on my 1st day out after reading the book and I played to 13 off my 11 handicap.
I can see I’ll be back to single figures in no time soon and I’ll be practicing golf Backwards !

Good advice for handicap golfers
This book (audio version) offers up some great suggestions on how to improve your scores and consistency with thought and intelligent practice.
It loses a star for becoming a little repetitive towards the end but definitely worth a read/listen.

Change your strategy to score better
A great listen if you’re ready for strategy advice to lower you scores.
Easy to implement advice for all beginner to intermediate level golfers. Can’t wait to see my scores drop into the 70’s.

Boring from start to finish
Boring story.
Boring solution that is so self evident that it doesn’t bear mentioning.
Boring author.

A Long Long Way to Say "Practice Your Short Game"
I really wanted to enjoy this book but am disappointed to say it was constant repetition about what not to do and very little about specifically what to do. Found myself skipping to the end just to get to any type of useful point.

Longest infomercial I’ve ever heard
This is truly the worst book I have listened to on Audible. I loved the little red book so was conned into buying this book because of a title that promised so much.
At times I felt like screaming “get on with it” at other times I kept skipping sections in the hope that I could get at least one nugget to make the experience worth while. In the end after 2.5 hours of excruciating pain I gave up.
For the record this is my first ever negative response.
