Peter English can finally relax and enjoy a much-earned rest from murder, mayhem and everything else he went through in The Frame. Or, at least that's what he thought.
A leisurely round of golf on a crisp fall Saturday morning with his dad and a couple of old friends. But when they arrive at the club, everything is shut down. Police cars, ambulances, the coroner's meat wagon, and his old partner from his days on the Memphis Police Department, Rudy Tobias, are on the scene. Scene? What scene?
Rudy informs Pete that four prominent members of the Riverview Country Club were murdered out on the 13th green, in what looks like a professional hit.
Well, here we go again. Will this case stretch way beyond Memphis, or maybe even into Europe? English will have his hands full with twists, turns and flying lead.
