Why would a normal citizen venture into the jungles of Ecuador to rescue kidnapped missionaries?
Eli Brown, a widowed construction worker, learns of a husband and wife team from his community taken hostage by members of a drug cartel. Since he cannot see anyone going to their aid—including the United States government—he decides he will do it.
Assisted by a feisty female friend, he makes a 2,000 mile journey, tangles with evil men, escapes danger, sets prisoners free, survives an ordeal in a raging river, and eventually has a showdown with the leader of the cartel.
GO GET THEM is an action-packed story that takes the listener from the Amazon rainforest to Incan Ruins on a peak in the Andes mountains. The lead character is realistic. Eli Brown is not a superhero or a former special forces operator. On the contrary, he is a common, morally upright man who finds a way to do the impossible.
