The immensely popular Twilight books have been made into a series of blockbuster movies. The Twilight movies star Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan and Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen.
The Twilight saga earned Meyer a loyal following of young adult readers who celebrate their Twilight fandom with ‘Stephenie Meyer Day’ – held annually in Forks, Washington – the town where the Twilight story is based. The day is celebrated around September 13 each year, which is the birthday of Meyer’s character, Bella Swan.
Meyer is also the author of sci-fi novel The Host, published in 2008. The Host debuted at #1 on The New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller lists. In 2016 Meyer released another novel, The Chemist, a gripping thriller about a woman on the run from her former employers – a clandestine agency of the United States government.
Meyer studied English Literature at Brigham Young University. She is a Mormon and a mother of three sons. She was born 24 December 1974 in Connecticut. Meyer lives in Arizona with her family.

“I loved this book … This book has no supernatural element to it but has three great characters that I couldn't get enough of. The lead role is female and she is a strong character who can look after herself from the very start of the book! There are so many great scenes where she kicks ass of strong male characters which is fab. There is of course a love story of course but it isn't the main focus of the story. I love the way Stephanie writes as the story flows well, very catchy and characters you feel for very quickly. Give it a go!” Charlotte, Audible listener.
