@drunkaloneagain is a writer whose work explores issues including but not limited to mixed-raceness, social mobility/growing up as a member of a marginalized community, gender/human sexuality, masculinity/misogyny, and single motherhood/fatherlessness. Their writing journey began when their cousin urged them to share their poems and the excerpts from discarded drafts of suicide notes on social media, where they gained sudden, unexpected attention. A formative chain of events transpired just before their college graduation when they received the news that their grandfather had been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer and their mother was rushed to the ER. Soon after, the author suffered a psychotic episode that resulted in their arrest.
