Author Drew Edward Vandervest is a huge fan of James Cameron movies including Avatar, Terminator Series, The Abyss. He recently completed his latest book Aelar’s Apotheosis. Born in Cadillac, Michigan 33-year-old Drew graduated from Marion High School in Marion, Michigan as a national honor student and spent four years studying for a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Imaging from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield Michigan. Raised by his father Drew grew up as a typical country boy who loved camping and fishing in his spare time. In 2015 he began writing Aelar’s Apotheosis, inspired by James Cameron’s 2009 blockbuster Avatar. Drew has big hopes for the story, a sci-fi fanatic himself, Drew sees his novel as a sci-fi movie in the future. When he’s not writing, Drew can usually be found brainstorming new ideas or planning new books. My goal is to publish between 8-10 books in the coming years and he’s already working on his follow-up novel about an alien invasion. And his motto? Drew says: “Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent”.
