Zoe Rosi is a thriller and horror author from the UK. She has written eight novels. Her first six were romantic comedies, at which point she rebelled against the genre and penned a thriller about a vigilante serial killer of predatory men. This novel, Pretty Evil, is described by the author as 'The Devil Wears Prada meets American Psycho' and features a sociopathic murderer called Camilla Black. Camilla is as stylish as she is vengeful, juggling a day job as a fashion magazine editor with her darker pursuits. Pretty Evil was first published in 2020, at the height of MeToo, and was at the forefront of the now-popular darkly comic killer-of-bad-men novels. It has been praised in the press, being described as 'an erotic murder thriller for the MeToo generation... a must-read' by Daily Express and as 'the ultimate revenge story' by The Independent. Zoe's second thriller is Someone’s Watching Me, a suburban noir thriller about a woman whose life falls apart when a strange man moves in next door. In January 2024, Zoe released the novella, Courier, under her imprint Lighthouse Books. Courier is about a creepy courier called Bob who becomes obsessed with a woman on his delivery route. In 2025, Zoe's novella All Expenses Paid will be published. A harrowing horror, All Expenses Paid explores the dark side of influencer culture and the price people place on their dignity and integrity. Prior to writing novels, Zoe worked in journalism and copywriting. She has a first-class degree in English Literature and Sociology and studied Novel Writing at City University and Life Writing at Oxford University. She lives in Oxford and works in art and fashion alongside writing. Zoe's romantic comedies are published under the pen name Zoe May and include the bestseller Perfect Match.
