My name is Wayne Drayton. I currently serve as deacon and Adult Sunday School teacher at Biblical House of God Holiness Church in North Charleston,SC. I made the decision to live a single , Christian life so I can stay dedicated to the Lord, focusing on serving Him. I'm not saying that marriage is a bad idea. But a person doesn't have to get married to be a perfect saint. If a person wants to get married, he or she should marry the person God has ordained for him or her. I hope my book "The Two Sides of Being Single: A Biblical Perspective" will help single individuals,Christian or not, decide to stay single or get married. I really want to stress that no matter which marital status one chooses; a person must be born again and accept Jesus Christ in order to get to heaven.
