Hello- I’m Tess Raynes, a retired executive with a knack for turning life's absurdities into literary gold. Armed with a master's degree and a therapist's recommendation to spill my guts onto paper, I accidentally stumbled into a full-blown writing gig. It’s like discovering that your new hobby is actually your calling—who knew? My pen knows no bounds, darting effortlessly from heartwarming anecdotes to spine-tingling thrillers. My life isn’t your typical retirement tale. It began with noble intentions—to care for ailing parents—but quickly spiraled into a whirlwind of caregiving, pandemic pandemonium, and enough drama to make Netflix green with envy. Yet, through it all, I’ve maintained my sense of humor and love for seeing the world through different eyes. My writing reflects the eclectic tapestry of my experiences—some stories drawn from my own adventures, others inspired by the colorful characters in my orbit, and some conjured from the depths of my imagination, which sometimes even scares me. The only constant? My unpredictable genre-hopping, much like my ever-changing moods. Now comfortably settled into my forever home, I spend my days writing stories that span Adventures, Thrillers, and Mysteries, with a sprinkle of Children’s Books and a Romance or two.
