Terry Squire Stone was born in 1947 on an army base in Biloxi, Mississippi. She has been a newsletter editor of four publications (one when she was nine years old), editorial writer, movie extra, co-owner of a graphic design firm, freelance artist, actor's manager, a waitress for one day, album cover designer, radio archive manager (KPFK), advertising saleswoman, office secretary, narrator, performance dancer, deputy for a Los Angeles City Councilman, political candidate, and frequent political protester (WTO in Seattle, G7, G8 and the Iraq war).
