I was born in south Georgia, the second of eventually seven siblings! My parents became missionaries when I was seven years old, so I spent most of my growing up years in Taipei, Taiwan.I learned Mandarin Chinese there and still retain some of the language. I live with my husband Gary, (who, by the way, has the patience of Job!) on the coast of North Carolina, where we enjoy the "empty nest." We currently have a "hobby farm" with chickens, ducks and cute little goats.
