I am a mother, a physician and an author, who wishes to pass on some real life lessons to my children. Passing of my parents has allowed me to reflect on some memories from my childhood and the gifts I received as a child but didn't comprehend until recently. My father was a scholar and an author/publisher. I often spoke to him about colorful books for children in the West and that he had not contributed to the new generation who read and write English. He advised me to translate some of his work and recreate how I see it fit. He died a few weeks later and his passing ignited a fire in me. I embarked on a journey to fulfil my promise but as a result identified a literary side of myself.
