T.S. Burns was born in Dunoon, Scotland and moved to Virginia at 6 months old. He grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia until moving to Dexter, Missouri at 13 years old. It was there he learned about a forest known by the locals as The Boogie Woods. There were many stories to be told about The Boogie Woods such as ghost stories, stories of murder, witches and wild beasts. One such beast was known as MoMo better known as Bigfoot. When older our author joined the navy after high school and returned to Virginia where he served aboard the USS Shenandoah from 1985 t0 1989. From there he returned to Missouri and studied at Ashford University receiving a degree in business. Terry Married and fathered 6 children. It was during this time he took up his interest in writing and wrote The Beasts of the Boogie Woods based on the stories told to him by his grandmother when he was a child.
