About the Author As a youngster, Susan told stories while sitting around the Girl Scout campfires, causing the campers to scream or laugh. As a middle child in a large, grand Catholic family, she enjoyed the attention storytelling and jokes afforded her. Finally, as a young adult, she began to write the stories. Her Catholic school upbringing inspired the novel. Susan Dwyer graduated from North Rockland H.S., Rockland Community College, SUNY Geneseo, and later earned her Master’s Degree from Nazareth College of Rochester, NY. Teaching experiences include a private college prep school, private practice in Early Intervention, and as an adjunct college professor - SUNY Geneseo. Born in NYC, Susan spends her time between Cape Cod and Florida. She has a son, a daughter, a son-in-law, and two grandchildren. By turns heartwarming and heartbreaking, this riveting tale of love lost and found will delight readers."
