Stevie Mikayne never dreamed of flying. She dreamed of writing stories that would one day be on library bookshelves. Her books UnCatholic Conduct and Illicit Artifacts were both finalists for the Lambda Literary Award, and her debut novel Jellicle Girl was short listed for the National Indie Award. Her new book, Invalid Evidence, is the third and final installment in the Jil Kidd mystery series, and was a Golden Crown Literary Award finalist. Stevie holds a PhD in Creative Writing from Lancaster University in the UK. She and her small family have decided to embark on a new adventure - travelling, eating strange food, and trying out the amazing experience of unschooling.
