Stephanie Brannon Stephanie Brannon is a true crime writer from Lubbock, Texas. Her passion for writing and researching about criminal psychology and serial murder led her to become the 2016 winner of the Little Bear Journalism Award for true crime. Stephanie is a self proclaimed “nerd” with an avid fascination into the macabre. She describes her writing as exploring “the darkest regions of the human mind,” and delivering “quick shots to the heart.” Although writing is her main passion, she also enjoys simple pleasures like coffee, artisan bread, and hiking in the wilderness.
