Shannon Laws is a Pacific Northwest poet and "Poetry Club Talks.." podcast producer. She is the author of four poetry books, the most recent “Fallen” published by Independent Writer’s Studio Press. Shannon has received two Mayor’s Arts Awards and the Community Champion Award. She writes frequently on the working class, homelessness, the human condition, and relationships. She makes her home in Bellingham, Washington. Her poetry has appeared in various books and magazines including "BUK 100" by Newington Blue Press (London), LEVITATE Literary Magazine (IL), CIRQUE Journal (North Pacific Rim), Clover-A Literary Rag (WA), "Noisy Water: Poetry from Whatcom County, Washington", and "This Uncommon Solitude" by Red Wheelbarrow Writers (WA).
