Hello, my name is Shannon Blake. I'm a Pensacola local historian. I've worked in museums and even taught High School but I later became a butler for my great-uncle I barely knew. My uncle had Alzheimer’s and thought I was my grandfather, his brother the (Telephone Man). Through this confusion, my great-uncle divulged much of what would later be collaborated as “The Good O’ Boy System,” in the South. As a caregiver / historian, I've learned about the secret underground network called the Family. Because of the criminal material within this novel, due to legal matters, I've had to write this novel as a work of historic fiction in order to prevent future litigation. I'm simply a story-teller. I come from a long line of story-tellers and I just can't write fast enough to tell all the interesting stories from my collected research. However, I'm typing away every week in hopes of my future releases such as the "Dirt Wars," "Donatello," "The Great Adventures of Greenberry Shell," "Todes-Gold," "The Magic Pond series," "A Kid's Guide to Strange Galactic Creatures," & many more other stories. My hopper's full and I can't wait to delight all the readers with some good old fashion, great American story-telling.
