Is he in fact the finest purveyor of "Dad" jokes west of the Mississippi? Perhaps, but what author Sean Nobmann wants you to know is that some of those east coast Dads are straight gangster with their "Dad" jokes. Born in Petaluma, California and raised on Mercer Island, Washington, Mr. Nobmann grew up a fan of all things Calvin & Hobbes and Roald Dahl. One of his dreams is to wake up to find an original cell of Calvin & Hobbes sitting against his front door, with a handwritten note from Bill Watterson that lovingly reads, "Here. Leave me alone already." A graduate of Brigham Young University and Duke Law, Mr. Nobmann spends his days as a litigation attorney at his own firm in Utah. His evenings are spent with his wife, Katherine, and their four sons. With four sons, some say he would have made a great King--Mr. Nobmann says, "God just knows how much I like to play frisbee at the park."
