SCOTT D. REICH is author of the acclaimed book, "The Power of Citizenship: Why JFK Matters to a New Generation." A practicing attorney in New York, and a lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania, Reich serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations. Following his son's diagnosis of a rare brain disorder called FOXG1 syndrome, Reich founded a non-profit called Believe in a Cure to develop a treatment (www.webelieveinacure.org). His efforts have been profiled on the Today show, in People magazine, and across a host of other media outlets. Reich is a renowned public speaker on a variety of topics, including citizenship, public service, leadership, philanthropy, civic engagement, and American history. He has appeared on NBC, CBS, Fox, MSNBC, Bloomberg, WPIX, Larry King Now, and several national and local radio shows. Reich earned a B.A. in history and communication from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was president of his class.
