Sarah, the former owner and President of SWG Consulting, Inc., was a Software Consultant for many years, specializing in implementing Payroll and Human Resources Software for large clients. Now retired, she enjoys life on her front porch and in front of her fireplace at the home her husband designed and built on her family's historic property in South Mississippi, near Sullivan's Hollow and Cohay Creek. Her hobbies include her family and friends, freelance writing (she wrote a column for the Taylorsville Post titled "From the Front Porch"), and has a blog of the same name, along with her two spoiled Pomeranians, anything genealogy-related, and travel. She is the organist at her church, the Taylorsville Methodist Church, where her great-grandfather, the Rev. D. C. Langford, was one of the first pastors, and where her maternal grandparents were married in 1910. Her first attempt at writing a novel was when author Mary Lou Cheatham invited her to co-author "Travelers in Painted Wagons on Cohay Creek." Her second book, released on February 6, 2018, is "Tales from the Porch," a collection of stories from her blog and the Taylorsville Post. Sarah is currently working on "Built on Evil Ground," which she calls "factual fiction"... about her grandfather, peonage, the Mississippi Delta, and the place where she now lives.
