Sarah writes non-fiction to encourage and empower those who have struggled or suffered due to medical issues. These insights come from her cancer experiences, once as a teenager, again as an adult. Her fiction is inspired by her four boys and by the children of her family and friends (who may find themselves inside the pages of The Sage Cheval Series!) Sarah hopes her stories will encourage young readers to keep reading and perhaps starting writing their own stories! When she's not writing or at her private counseling practice, she might be found eating blue berries, playing cards or guitar, or watching football with her boys. Sarah also loves all super hero movies and going for walks in the park! Sarah lives in Illinois with her husband, four sons and therapy dog, Molly.
