In February 2024, both Books 1 & 2 (published November 2023) received 5/5 star reviews on On-line book club dot org. BOOK 2 - Won the 2024 Pinnacle Achievement Award in the Category of Young Adult. An Official Professional Book Review of Life Lessons and Tales of Little MisFit - Book 2: by Lisa P Cowling official review of book 2 is contained here: "With barely over a hundred pages, this book is easy to read, yet it contains some profound lessons. I thoroughly enjoyed every page and always anticipated the next chapter. Dr. Grunin's use of language is very accessible to everyone, ranging from toddlers to adults. With her detailed descriptions and my use of imagery, I would say I went to school and learned a new life lesson from the author. Her stories brought back long-forgotten memories. Very much like Little MisFit, I was also once punished by my teacher for something that I didn’t do. I burst out in laughter, seeing how she got back at him. I could never have dreamed of doing that to my teacher. I really enjoyed that chapter because I could relate to it. Something else I connected with was the life of the younger child. Just like Little MisFit, the majority of the things I own were passed down from my elder sister. My inner child was happy for her when her dad got her a new bike. She felt blissful in light of the fact that she wouldn't need to lag behind her brother and sister when they went bike riding. I like the central message of this book: life isn't always fair, but we must always make the most of what we have. Little Misfit is a great model, I must say. The relatable events her character portrays will help kids realize that things that may puzzle or bother them in their own experience may be universal. Her character teaches life lessons in such a fun, personal way. Yes, life might not really be fair to us, but we should remember to always make the best of the situations and opportunities that life throws at us.
I rate this book a 5 out of 5. It is well edited. I recommend this book to both children, teens, and adults who wish to relive their childhood. If you are like me, your inner child would enjoy this book."

Note the over 30 plus 5 star reviews most found on Amazon and how this book through humor gets kids to ask adults questions about their life lessons and to also share their own experiences. It is a valuable book to help kids build their self image and realize that it's okay to not always fit in and to feel uncomfortable in some situations that they may find themselves in. Furthermore, it is good to be comfortable with who you are and to learn how to use humor to find oneself and become successful in life. Book 1's On-line Official review also received 5/5 stars by the reviewer, Victoria Ositaorah: This book stands out among many children's books I have read because its contents are morally intuitive. The author took time to ensure that this book not only shared moral knowledge but also added a touch of humor to keep readers entertained. There were many funny contents, like the children's view of German measles, how they were angry at their German neighbors, and when Sue felt that her name, Ivy, was like calling her after a plant. It would be enlightening for little children to know about the zebra crossing and the crossing guard. The book also talks about love and sacrifice, like when Lynn took the blame for her sister's actions. Lastly, little children could learn new words such as clumsy and defiant, and the book would give children an excellent perception of school and how it would impact them. (I)t was exceptionally well-edited. I recommend this book to children from four to ten because it would relate best to them.
