Robert Honor is a graduate of Moravian College and NYU's, the Tisch School of the Arts. In his youth he was briefly a New York City Firefighter, he was tasked by Mr. Jack Lalanne to do 100 push-ups in the middle of a New York City street, which he did...Was asked out of several Hollywood meetings, and fell out of a canoe. He placed and won in many screenwriting competitions while he was at NYU and he subsequently taught screenwriting there for 15 years. His one-act plays have been performed in New York City, and his musings and/or observations of life can be found on Medium.Com. It took Robert 6 years to complete his new thriller / mystery, Bogart's Hat because he was recovering from 11 operations. He's extremely clumsy and has vowed to stay off skateboards and away from basketball courts. Currently, he is developing a television project and working on his second novel, a mystery / thriller entitled Brooklyn Bound, set in 1955 in Gravesend Brooklyn. It's the story of a young Marine Corps veteran returning to his neighborhood only to find out that his fourth grade sweetheart has gone missing. When we finally get the better of this pandemic, Robert is eager and willing to join you and your book clubs in a spirited discussion about Bogart's Hat. The only thing he asks in return is a piece of pie and a good cup of coffee. Perhaps even an Irish coffee. Just one. By the way, a sequel to Bogart's Hat is stirring, and Robert is very proud to announce the publication of his new book, The Silver Christmas Tree. A spirited story of family, inclusion and being a good neighbor. It's beautifully illustrated; it's a story for the entire family to enjoy! Especially around the holidays.
