Rick brings diverse experience to his role as an author. After spending 25 years as a software industry executive and pastoring a non-denominational church in Stamford, CT for 8 years, Rick has been innovating global healthcare missions strategies with MedSend since 2008. Rick has become an expert in low-resource global healthcare delivery. He has traveled extensively throughout the world, encountering healthcare delivery in some of the lowest-resourced places. The global disparity in healthcare access and the suffering it causes have driven him to seek ways to bless the nations with faith-based, compassionate healthcare. As a pastor, Rick saw God's transforming power as people came to understand how much their creator loves them; As CEO of MedSend, he has seen the love of God displayed and delivered by those called to bring compassionate healthcare to a hurting world. He firmly believes each of us is called to change the world—sometimes around the block, sometimes across an ocean.
