Richard Matzkin, MA has a magnificent 41 year old relationship with his wife, Alice. He is a former men's group leader, director of a domestic violence program, program director of a psychiatric hospital and meditation teacher. He is also an accomplished author, sculptor and jazz drummer. Richard has won two prestigious awards for LOVING PROMISES: The Master Class for Creating Magnificent Relationships in the category of Relationships, Communication and Marriage --the silver NAUTILUS BOOK AWARD and the silver LIVING NOW BOOK AWARD. He has co-authored, with Alice, the dual award winning art/inspirational book, THE ART OF AGING: Celebrating the Authentic Aging Self. This book was awarded the silver Nautilus and the bronze IPPY from the Independent Publishers. Alice and her husband, Richard were chosen as "one" of twelve Beautiful Minds in a national contest sponsored by the National Center for Creative Aging. Their greatest reward is that they are still madly in love.
