Richard Dixson is an American author, speaker, blogger, life coach and paw paw. He and his wife are currently raising their four grandchildren enjoying the opportunity to be young again. The inspiration for his children's books come from the real-life experiences and imaginations raising his kiddos. He was raised in Kansas City, MO where he learned the value of working and playing hard. However, it was in the moments of solitude where his dreams and aspirations of writing were born. He loved reading books that took him to places he thought he would never be able visit and he enjoyed creating imaginary worlds filled with fun, laughter, and adventure. He has been blessed with the gift of story-telling and loves creating stories with dramatic obstacles to overcome and awe-inspiring endings. He has been recognized as a dynamic speaker and enjoys inspiring audiences to live their best lives making the most of opportunities.
