Ramon Hervey II has built one of the most respected boutique entertainment management and brand consultant companies in the business over the past four decades. This summer he debuts as an author with THE FAME GAME, An Insider’s Playbook for Earning Your 15 Minutes,(HarperCollins/Amistad), and chronicles his uncensored sagas representing luminous stars like Richard Pryor, Bette Midler, Quincy Jones, the Bee Gees, Paul McCartney, Andrae Crouch, Vanessa Williams, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Luther Vandross, Nick Nolte, and James Caan, to name a few. Hervey launched his musical career in London, England working as a writer/publicist for noted talent agency, Starlite Artistes, (Bay City Rollers, Marmalade) and did stints at Motown (Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye), before being hired by iconic firm Rogers & Cowan and building a superstar client list. He later opened his own public relations company and management consultant company, active for over 30 years. Hervey has also produced several major events/projects including the NBA AT 50 Anniversary album, (1996) and the Peabody award-winning documentary Chisholm ’72: Unbought & Unbossed (Executive Producer).
