Rachel McCracken is a writer, blogger, and creator of Chasing Kites—a foundation committed to serving adoptive and foster families. What Rachel finds most rewarding about working with families is the opportunity to connect: “Our fundamental need and formation of attachments is a part of every human experience. Watching tender new connections blossom into deep-rooted relationships is what I love most about serving families.” Rachel is a mom to eight children, seven of whom are adopted. She currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, although a part of her heart will always reside at her country farmhouse in central Washington.
