He decided to pursue higher education to spend his retirement starting up his own consultancy business and earning his Contractor License and certification in Turfgrass and Landscape Management. This busy retiree now wants to share his years of raising his children through children's picture books. His love for hard work, family, travel, golf, and culinary experiences enriches his stories, infusing them with the colorful array of life’s simple joys. R. L.’s writing is crafted with a unique perspective that captures the wonder of childhood, offering little readers relatable characters and educational stories that encourage exploration and curiosity. As he embarks on this new chapter as a debut author, R. L. Florez invites audiences to journey alongside him and hopes to inspire a love of reading in the hearts of children everywhere.
