Author - Phyllis Cook (Currently retired) I had earned a pastoral certificate and worked in a variety of volunteer ministries throughout my life. I also obtained an associate degree and worked as an administrative assistant. My greatest achievement is my relationship with God and the wonderful family he has given me. I believe that the bible tells us how God works behind the scenes on our behalf. It gives us history lessons on how others broke through barriers, defeated invisible enemies, and accomplished great things. When we learn what God has done for others, we have a better tendency to believe in him for ourselves. It makes it easier to accept and believe in him as we familiarize ourselves with his stories, his words, feelings, and desires. God has a purpose for our lives! We need to know what that purpose is. We also need to know what our God given rights are and how to apply them. I wrote these books in an attempt to find out who God was, what faith was, how it works, and how I can apply his promises to my own life. I found that we can create within ourselves a mindset of peace of mind and success, as we seek out his hidden treasures buried deep within his word, the bible.
