Paul Sparrow is the former director of the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum. During his tenure there he used special exhibits to tell a wide range of important stores, including the 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor, the incarceration of Japanese Americans, and D-Day. He has been telling stories in various formats and media for 50 years. He began in documentary filmmaking and television and won two Emmys and many other awards for his work, which spanned the spectrum from executive producing America's Most Wanted to a History Channel special on the Holocaust. In 1998 he moved to the Newseum, an interactive museum in Washington, D,C, that explored the history of journalism and the First Amendment. Sparrow was a pioneer in using innovative interactive technologies to enhance traditional exhibits. He also developed the Newseum's award winning website and created dozens of online exhibits.
