Hello Everyone, My name is Patricia Saunders and I am the co-author of An Antidote to Violence, a new and exciting book that examines peer-reviewed research suggesting that the Transcendental Meditation technique can influence the collective consciousness of a society and lead to a decrease in negative social trends, such as a decline in war fatalities and an increase in cooperation between nations. And yes, like my co-author, Barry Spivack, I am passionate about reducing suffering in society especially the heartbreak of military conflict. In addition, I am a teacher of the Transcendental Meditation program and a faculty member of the Consciousness and Human Potential department at Maharishi International University My work has been published online and An Antidote to Violence: Evaluating the Evidence, published by Changemaker Books, an imprint of John Hunt Publishing, was the #1 selling book for Changemakers Books in 2020.
