Paolo Ballardini, writer and traveller, has a passion for history, epics, the history of religions and for the Jewish culture. He has lived and worked in several capitals in Europe and in North and South America. He obtained a Masters in Creative Writing at the University of Roehampton, London and since 1999 he has been publishing articles, stories, fairy tales and novels. Each of his novels is a deep dive into a different world and culture – sometimes contemporary, sometimes set in a remote era – leading the reader to places that the author has researched at length. Both his surrealist-style short stories and his fables are rooted in real-life situations: they make the common extraordinary, and that which is extraordinary, plausible.
