After graduating college Ora became a copywriter at prestigious advertising agencies. Though she created dozens of print and national TV ad campaigns, she felt empty. One day a friend said, “If there is hell on earth, there is also heaven.” He then told her about meditation. She tried it and experienced profound feelings of peace, joy and wisdom. Inspired, she wrote ICE VEIL TALES, produced a puppet show video of the first story and presented it at schools. Kids were riveted. Even the bullies got the message. ICE VEIL TALES have been endorsed by; Diana Winston, Director of Education at UCLA’s Mindfulness Awareness Research Center; Helene Cameron, LAUSD principal; Licensed Mindfulness Instructors, Social Workers, Teachers, Parents and Kids. ICE VEIL TALES are taught at KIPP School in South Central LA, Watt’s Boys & Girls Club and on Outschool.
