Nilam McGrath is the author of a novella 'Schrodinger's Cat May or May Not Have Been Here'; 'A PhD Rollercoaster' charting her journey through the doctoral training cycle; 'Watching Tagore' (one of the winning selections in the SAMPAD 2012 writing competition); and 'Rouen' (a short story first published in Litro). She is also a film geek and laughs at her own jokes. An experienced writer and researcher for the global development sector, she lived in the Philippines, Maldives, Sri Lanka and the UK, and advises international aid agencies and charities on how to share their evidence.
