It all started with cold fries and a parking nightmare. During my master’s in Applied Computer Science at Dalhousie, I was hustling as a food delivery driver for Uber Eats and DoorDash. But every delivery felt like a scene from a heist movie—dodging ‘No Parking’ signs, arguing with security guards, and sprinting across blocks with a bag of (now lukewarm) burgers. Frustrated, I turned to my favorite weapon—Google Forms to verify is this a real problem? I surveyed fellow drivers and discovered I wasn’t alone. That’s when it opened the gates to the product world for me: Identifying a real-world Problem, validating it with customer and providing a solution. My obsession with solving real-world headaches led me straight into the wild world of product management. Currently I am a product manager at CoreLogic. I’m driving real estate tech that agents actually want to use. I built an AI-powered assistant for MLSTouch that automatically generates property descriptions from listing images—slashing listing creation time by 80% and boosting user growth by 11%. To help agents market smarter, I integrated third-party APIs (like Canva for social templates and AR tools for virtual property lines), driving a 30% increase in feature adoption. And when agents complained that listings saved on one platform didn’t sync with another, thereby hurting the ecosystem, I didn’t just fix the bug—I built a Centralized Service Layer from scratch, cutting support complaints by 50% and lifting retention rates by 25%. I love when the north star metrics move for my product. So, why trust my books? Because they aren’t just recycled theories—they’re forged from the trenches of real-world product battles.
