Michael Feola is a political theorist at Lafayette College, who earned his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. He has held positions at Northwestern University, Stanford University, Duke University, Williams College, and Lafayette College. He has published two books to date: The Powers of Sensibility: Aesthetic Politics through Adorno, Foucault, and Rancière (Northwestern University Press, 2018) and The Rage of Replacement: Far Right Politics and Demographic Fear (University of Minnesota Press, 2024). His political writings have also appeared in The Washington Post, Slate, and The Guardian.
