Writing a novel is something I never dreamed I’d do. I LOVE to read. I’m kind of obsessed with it. I started keeping a spreadsheet of the books I was reading back in 2016 (when I got my first kindle). In the almost seven years since, I’ve read approximately 900 books. I was born and raised in Poughkeepsie, New York. I took secretarial courses and worked as a Foreign Service Secretary for the State Department for seven years, with assignments in Washington, DC; Sao Paulo, Brazil; and Vienna, Austria. I lived for 35 years in Colorado, but a year after moving to Stillwater, Oklahoma, I started writing Gracie and Sam’s story. It’s been quite the adventure for the last year and a half. I’ve learned SO much about writing, editing, formatting, cover design, and self-publishing—and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I ended up with a contemporary romantic comedy with gospel insights that I’m very proud of. I hope everyone enjoys Gracie’s Heart’s Desire!
