Marci Darling is the author of four books: Martini Mystery: A Love Letter to New Orleans (mystery) The Champagne Scandal: The Spirits Are Calling (mystery) Divorce Diva: Navigating Grief and Loss with Hope, Humor, and Chutzpah (Humorous Non-Fiction Personal Essays) Magic Carpets, Flying Ships, and Moonlit Kingdoms: The True Travel Stories of Marci Darling (Nonfiction Travel Stories) She has a Masters degree in Education from Harvard, a BA in English/Creative Writing from UCLA, and a Certificate in Novel Writing from Stanford. She is also a sassy bon vivant whose previous careers include: belly dancer, showgirl, circus acrobat, burlesque dancer, and preschool teacher. She has performed globally and danced on tour with the Go-Go’s, the B-52’s, and Paul McCartney. She has danced and lived all over the world including Paris, Florence, Hollywood, New Orleans and Boston. Additionally, Marci Darling is a respected and widely read blogger, writing about the wit, wisdom, and wonder she has learned through her own grief journey. She has also written for numerous publications including Oprah Magazine, Louisiana Homes and Gardens, NOLA Baby, the Marblehead Reporter, Vineyard Style, and the Martha’s Vineyard Times. She lives in a cottage by the sea with her magical family: two kids, two dogs, and three cats.
