Marc Crudgington has been in the role of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for over 15 years. Marc was CISO/SVP at Woodforest National Bank, CISO at a large US based real estate firm, and in the CISO role at a global CPG sales and marketing company. Additionally, Marc is the Founder, CEO, and vCISO/vCIO at CyberFore Systems, a cybersecurity consulting firm. In his career, Marc has worked at or consulted at several Fortune 500 companies and Silicon Valley technology companies with leadership roles in IT and engineering, and provided consulting advisory services for numerous Venture Capital firms and start-up/small technology and cybersecurity companies. Marc is a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving honorably from April 1992–April 1996. He held a Top-Secret clearance and performed duties in intelligence, computer operations, and network communications. Marc is an alum of the FBI CISO Academy, has an MBA and holds a Secret clearance as well as various Board, cybersecurity and technology certifications. He volunteers on several Advisory Boards and Committees, authors articles, presentations, and white papers. Marc is a sought-after speaker, podcast guest, panelist, and moderator at national, regional, and Houston IT and Security conferences.
