It follows the journey of sixty-year-old Denny, recently retired and definitely not sure where life is taking her She accepts an invitation from her step-sister Juliette to go to Mallorca for a hen holiday and that's when the fun starts. The sequel to the bestselling The Old Ducks Club it continues the story of older heroines who are far from past having fun, making friendships and finding love. Maddie Please writes uplifting, romantic comedies with a steep learning curve for her characters, reflecting the sometimes confusing experiences of today's women (and men) which can be challenging whatever your age. A Year of New Adventures followed in February 2018, A transatlantic crossing on the wonderful Cunard ship QM2 led to Maddie’s third book Come Away With Me, published in August 2018.
