Lola Aworanti-Ekugo is a digital executive and writer. She graduated from Middlesex University London with scholarship and then Imperial College London where she was awarded an MBA. She has always enjoyed writing and telling short stories, some of her work can be found on her London based blog WeekenderHQ.com and Bellanaija.com centred around travel and lifestyle. Lagos to London is her first novel. Born in Nigeria, the novel was inspired by her own journey of leaving the shores of Nigeria to study abroad after secondary school. Lagos to London, is expected to stir up inspiration, hope, self-discovery and finding purpose in an unknown path filled with unexpected turns. It highlights the intricate realities life can bring living abroad as a young immigrant and ultimately fulfilling the aspiration of living your best life wherever you find yourself as a global citizen.
